This project was a part of The Golden Pint competition at Oregon State University in March 2018. The objective was to, in a team of 3, create a visual identity for one of 16 barley-based beers. Ours was Pacific Malt.
Pacific Malt is beer with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. The designs tap into essential land features that are iconic to this region. The packaging was designed with hand illustrations and a simple, clean look. Each of the colors chosen were pulled from an actual photograph taken from different destinations around Oregon. A goal for the artwork was to advertise our brand through a visual representation of the unique flavor.
