Approaching their 10-year anniversary, the Portland Thorns wear the crown for the Portland sports team with the most league championships- 2 in 9 seasons. They are the powerhouse of the NWSL and are home to more USWNT members than any other team in the league.
Amidst the postseason excitement ending in an MLS Cup Final in Portland, we were able to execute a full takeover of the city. The theme from the start of the postseason was "Onward Rose City"- inspired by the grit and determination embodied by the 2021 team. As they won game after game, the team paved their way to an MLS Cup Final. Portland was buzzing. The bridges in Portland lit up green and gold, fans inked logo and axe tattoos, and the local donut shops baked Timbers-themed donuts. Our team was tasked with spreading the excitement across all possible mediums.
